Discover the Life-Changing Benefits of Youth Fishing Outings
Empowering the Next Generation of Anglers
At The King's Fishermen Outreach Foundation, we believe that fishing is much more than a pastime—it’s a pathway to personal growth, confidence, and a deeper connection to nature and faith. Each youth fishing outing is thoughtfully designed to provide participants with everything they need for a safe, enjoyable, and skill-building experience: a licensed boat captain, boat access, snacks, drinks, fishing gear, tackle, bait, a fishing license, and a fishing pole for each youth.
Led by Captain Brian, a lifelong fisherman, former Cub Scout leader, and devout Christian, our trips teach essential fishing skills such as knot tying, rigging poles, identifying fish species, and caring for the environment. More importantly, these outings encourage teamwork, responsibility, and resilience, creating opportunities for youth to grow in confidence, make lasting friendships, and develop a sense of stewardship for God’s creation.
We recognize that not every family can afford experiences like this, and we are proud to provide these opportunities free of charge. Each youth joins the trip with a parent or guardian, ensuring a safe, supportive environment. By offering positive, enriching experiences on the water, we hope to provide meaningful alternatives to less constructive activities and give young people memories, skills, and confidence that last a lifetime.
At the conclusion of each trip, participants take home a fishing pole and a gift bag, reminders of their accomplishments and the joy of the day. The thrill of catching fish, combined with the peaceful beauty of the Gulf, fosters achievement, mindfulness, and appreciation for the outdoors.
